2 Samuel 3 - Abner Joins David
Abner argued with Ish-bosheth and offered to support David. David asked for his wife Michal. Joab killed Abner and David mourned.
2 Samuel 4 - Ish-bosheth Son of Saul Murdered
Ish-bosheth lost heart. His captains Rechab and Baanah killed him and took his head to David. David commanded that they be killed.
